Step 1

• Insert the PLASMAShield® Disposable into the PLASMAShield® Base. The device will turn on and show “READY” on the screen.
• Drape the PLASMAShield® Base while maintaining sterility.

Step 2

• Place the sponge under the display screen without covering it.
• Add a few droplets of liquid on one side of the sponge while leaving a dry area.
• Insert the scope and wait for ten seconds for the “PASS” indication to appear.

Step 3

• Remove the scope and gently dab it on the wet area and then on the dry area of the sponge to remove excess liquid from the scope.
• Your scope is now ready to use.
